On Costuming. . .


The best thing about costuming: There are so many costumes to build. Costuming is such a flexible hobby. When funds are tight, I can find something to build. When I can get extravagant, I can find something to build.

The worst thing about costuming: It is addictive. Every costume I build, every movie I see, every book I read, every dream I remember leads me to another dream project. Another costume on my to do list.

Ailyn Vel

Ailyn is the daughter of Boba Fett. She is a bounty hunter. The only picture of Ailyn is here. Obviously, I had to come up with most of the costume on my own. The 501st Dune Sea Garrison recently finished a project in which several of their members created custom Mandalorian costumes. I tried to blend some of what they did with this picture of Ailyn's mother Sintas Vel.
